About Sustainable Community Development

If you are interested in bridging cultural gaps and addressing issues of inequality, you should consider our sustainable community development minor, which encourages students to participate in service learning and applied fieldwork.  You can take courses such as Education for Social Change, Food and Society, and Equality and Social Justice, making this a minor that perfectly complements majors such as healthcare administration, education, environmental science, and political science.
