Living in a Diverse and Inclusive Community

Georgetown College is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive community by recognizing, respecting and celebrating individual differences and commonalities in our students.

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Georgetown College plays a vital role in creating a holistic learning environment that prepares our students to be empowered, informed and responsible citizens for our local and global communities. Our office routinely works with other areas on campus to provide programming/resources that serve the needs of all students. We believe in protecting the rights of all students regardless of race, socioeconomic status, age, politics, geographical origin, sexual and gender orientation, or religious belief. We recognize the need for all students to learn from those who are different, as well as to discover commonalities, and to grow from these experiences as they form their own beliefs.

Our goal is to provide diverse educational opportunities for all students through a quality higher education experience here at Georgetown College.
