“Georgetown College taught me the interconnectedness of all disciplines. I have to engage a teenage audience daily in my classroom, and the liberal arts education I received not only promotes creativity in my instruction, but also helps me identify connections between the content/skills of my curriculum and the interests of my students.”

 - Kim Pangburn Shearer, ’01, Kentucky Teacher of the Year in 2012
