All In The Timing Opening November 15
Submitted on October 28, 2019
With the first Maskrafters performance of the year currently underway, it’s already time to get excited about their next performance. Men on Boats is currently showing in the Wilson Lab Theatre and will run November 1-3 at 7:30 pm each evening, but, starting on November 15, a new production, All In the Timing, will be showing in the theatre.
All In the Timing is an original play by David Ives, directed by Professor Carly Preston. This critically acclaimed, award-winning evening of comedies combines wit, intellect, satire and just plain fun, as David Ives plumbs the depths of true love, a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, Leon Trotsky, and typing monkeys.
The show will run November 15-17 and November 22-24, showing each evening at 7:30 pm in the Wilson Lab Theatre.
On the play, Director Carly Preston said, “All In The Timing, a series of sketches by David Ives, shows the human condition in its most vulnerable states through the eyes of lovers, monkeys, confused business men, and revolutionaries. With a comical and delightful glimpse at romance, identity, and existential crisis, All In The Timing reminds its audiences that no one has the answer, and laughter is truly the best medicine.”
The cast list for the upcoming production includes Georgetown College students: Matthew Menendez, Kaitlyn Winters, Tyler Evans, Joe Kiger, Rebecca Bauer, Samual Sinkhorn, Kyra Higgins, Nate Whitlock, Willow Dove, Kendal Warren, and Robert Bird.
Admission is $4 for students; $5 for all others! Recommended for audiences 13 years and up due to language. To reserve tickets, call 502-863-8104. Running time: 60 minutes. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
